In many situations, the following saying holds true, "you get out of it what you put into it."

Your body is no exception.  If you're an athlete and you don't use preventative measures to take care of yourself, you will be more prone to injuries.

I often tell my clients that massage is not only for injury repair and rehabilitation, but should also be used as a preventative measure in order to maintain overall wellness.  Making an investment in your body will not only prolong your athletic career, but it will help to prevent serious injury that may hinder your performance in the future.

I'm sure any athlete would agree, there is no price that you can put on your body.  You only get one, so it's worth investing in.  It is important to do whatever preventative measures it takes to maintain your overall health and well being.
